I'm starting a little late this year, but I think it's going to be ok. Let me start by giving kudos to my friend Dave Lambert of Lambert Studios for the idea of offering what I hope is a cool unique gift.
I'm going to be doing a new recording of "The Night Before Christmas" (both American and Irish accent as some requests O.o) , and would like to offer again a free recording to anyone of their original short story or a public domain piece. Feel free to send me an e-mail at kmconnolly@gmail.com by December 15th.
I couldn't get a supply of those mini CDs like I did last year, and I heard that some of them broke in the mail, so I'll just be sending them out by e-mail to make sure people get them. Happy Holidays! |

| | The monstahhhh!!! (ask me for the reference tee hee) | ] | I almost forgot to mention - since I have my brand spankin' new updated recording set up, I've been hitting the Voice Acting Alliance for fun, and was cast in 5 projects. Here are two of them that have been completed.
Kestrels: An Original Radio Play
Frivolous Scrolls I: Episode 4
I just finished recording the first episode of a space vampire drama, playing a really cool cocky engineer, and then Sir Arthur Conan Doyle in a dramatic reading from a graphic novel. This weekend I start recording the lead superhero in a new fully 3D animated piece that looks AMAZING. I'll see if I can post the character shot here for you all to check out.
And if anyone has a project up at the VAA, let me know! I'd love to audition!

| | Blaze Bayley - The Man Who Would Not Die | ] | Ok, so his is slightly embarrassing. Way back before Christmas as many of you will recall, I had offered to record audio pieces for people who wanted something read as a Holiday gift. The Night Before Christmas seemed to be a huge hit, but someone asked me to read a specific Shakespeare monologue. As I was getting ready to do that, my recording set up bit the dust.
Now, only 8 months later, I have a brand spankin' new laptop, studio mic, USB interface, and even a "Port-a-Booth" so I'm ready to get back to recording craziness! The only problem: I can't find the e-mail from the person who requested the monologue, let alone which monologue it was! So if you're out there reading this, please forgive my tardiness, and if you still would like it, I'll be more than happy to record and send it to you. Cheers!
